1. About Account Deletion

Insura is a mobile application by Mutual Global Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. User accounts in Insura are created only after verification of eligible policyholder, employee, customer, or service-related details against insurer records, service partner records, or Mutual Global's internal database.

Users may request deletion of their Insura app account and associated personal data by contacting us from their registered email address.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, please send an email to support@mutualglobal.com with the subject line Insura Account Deletion Request.

Please include the following details in your request:

  • Full name
  • Registered email address or mobile number
  • Policy number, employee ID, customer ID, or user ID, if available
  • Reason for account deletion, optional

Once we receive your request, we will verify your details and process the request in accordance with applicable insurance, legal, regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.

3. Data That May Be Deleted

After verification, the following app-related data may be deleted where legally allowed:

  • Insura app login account
  • User profile details
  • App usage data
  • Location and activity data collected for app functionality
  • Uploaded documents, images, or files, where deletion is legally permitted

4. Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where required for insurance, legal, regulatory, tax, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, policy servicing, claim servicing, or compliance obligations.

  • Policy, proposal, premium, claim, KYC, transaction, and audit records
  • Records required by insurers, TPAs, service providers, or regulatory authorities
  • Data required to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable laws

5. Account Inactivity

If the associated policy expires, the user is no longer eligible, or the account remains unused for an extended period, the Insura app account may be marked inactive. Inactive app accounts may be deleted after 6 months of inactivity, subject to applicable insurance, legal, regulatory, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and compliance retention requirements.

6. Processing Timeline

Account deletion requests are normally processed within 30 to 90 days, subject to successful user verification and applicable legal, regulatory, insurance, audit, or compliance retention requirements.
